Urgent Help H1B Transfer

Company A offered me a job. They are saying they got intimated about the successfull transfer of H1B, through an email. Does USCIS intimate through email for transfer approvals? But it doesn't show same on the website, and new employer is saying the approval will come through post in few days.
Shall I start moving to the new city based on this fact?

In this current economy, better be safe than sorry. Wait till you see the notice before you resign from your current job.
