Possibility of getting Extension for H1

I have H1 which is valid till Sep 2009.

I would not use it after stamping due to family issues..

Now I'm out of all family issues and I wanted to move to US for clearing my loan within 1 year.

If I get a job in US then is there any possibilty of getting an extension for my H1 validity ?..

Please let respond to me ASAP.. I would like to know the guidelines for applying for extension..

First contact your employer, see if they still have a job for you. If they invite you to join them you can come to US with current offer letter for the remaining period of your job. Alternatively, they (or any other employer) can file a new cap exempt petition for you for a complete period of 3 new years.
