H1B and STEM OPT FY2010

Hi,

I was hoping someone could help me with this. I have a consulting company that has applied for my h1b (i.e. FY2010). I also have another consulting company that is registered with the E-verify program, so I was thinking of applying for the STEM-OPT. Would this be a conflict with two applications to USCIS, one for STEM OPT and another for H1B.

Only if the H1b got approved as you no longer will be on F1. Also, you need to be working for the one that extends the OPT with everify.
