Hi all..

I have gotten my H1b stamped from Hyd embassy on 15th...and they have not cancelled my previous 10 yr multiple entry B1..

My contract starts from July 1, but I have to attend orientation from Jun 17th.. and I cant enter US on my H1 in time for the orientation..
Can I use my B1 visa to enter US in time for orientation, and then revert to H1 at a later date? If I can, do I have to leave the country as a rule and then come back or is there an another alternative..

If the visa is valid during the time of orientation then you can enter 17JUN. Recommend not to enter on B1.
