H1B Visa-Part time Job

I am teaching in a university as a part time lecturer under H1B visa.Usually part-time lecturers are not assigned teaching during summer semester.I'll be teaching next acedmic year(Fall 2009) in the same university.I also confirmed from my university, that I'll not be out of status though I am not teaching this summer.

I have a good opportunity of getting a professor job from Fall 2009 in other university.My question is can I my H1b be transfered even if I am not teaching this summer(no job in summer)

I'll not be paid in June and July.Teaching assinment for Fall semester starts in Aug.So I'll be paid in Aug
