Rescheduling US visa appointment in Canada

I'm transferring from F-1 to H-1 and need to get my visa stamped in Canada before I can start working (I could not get Change of Status locally).

Unfortunately the only appointments available are in Calgary a month away, and I was wondering if they allow you to reschedule your appointment to a different city if an earlier one becomes available?

If anyone knows I would really appreciate the info.

You can cancel old one, and schedule a new one at any location.
