Hi... I am currently unemployed for the past 4 months. I lost my job on Jan 23rd and then i went to India in Feb. I got my H1 renewal stamping done and then came back on March end. Since then i have been looking for a job, i am currently still maintaining my H1 status. My pay roll was generated for the month of April. Is it safe to convert to H4 status now? Also once i convert...can i get back on H1 status once i get a new job? Pls help !!!!
