H4 to F1

I got my F1 visa approved in USA, I enterd in USA in H4 visa ,I got admission in one of the university and applied changed of status from H4 to F1,got approval.And I completed one semester and planning to go to india for one month ,need to go for stamping , which catagory i need to schedule appointment for visa stamping...... means renewal or first time visa catagory,,,


How long it take to get appoinment....?...looking for dates in end of june or early jul...y .....am going to travel with in two week,I could not schedule appointment for visa stamping as there is no availabilty...was looking from last two week for slots I dont know when they are going to open the slots for june and july .I already booked the ticket for both ways , please help

--- Should be first time visa category as you entered on H4 and are currently on F1.

--- The only suggestion is to keep looking at the VFS website for open dates. Unless you have a genuine emergency requirement, you have no option but to wait for an open date.
