Hello experts, here is my situation, please advise.
Currently working for company X, have their H1 valid till 2011. Cmm x is in the process of re-org and I am not sure what all will happen and it may take 1-2 months before the final re-org happens.
However in the meantime, I have an offer from company Y which I have accepted, however have not yet started their H1b process.
So my question is if I start company Y's H1b process, and their H1b petition gets approved, then do I have to necessarily join them, or can I continue to be with my present employer X post new H1b approval if I want? Is it possible/legal?
I would like to continue at company X if at all possible, but at the same time don't want to lose this opportunity if nothing works here. In other words, I am buying some time. Pls advise what are my options.
