H1B Extension Denied - I94 not expired

Hi,

My H1B I-129 petition for extension has been denied today.
But my previous I-94 has a validity upto September. This was
received as part of my I-797, but the I-94 number on this is missing.
Although the I-94 number was on my wife and kids I-797 (H4) approval, they
are my dependants.
I am yet to receive the Denial letter to know my options.
My GC PERM and I-140 were approved earlier. I-485 has not been applied
yet as it is not current for my status & priority date.

1) Would like to know my options?
2) Can I stay in US till my I-94 expiry or do I need to leave urgently.
3) Can I refile for an extension

2) It doesn't matter if your I-94 expires or not. What matters is what status you're in now. If ur H1 is still valid and your employer is paying you, then u can stay until I-94 expires.
3) You can't. Your employer can.

4) Also can my GC process be kept active as my I140 is approved. Havent applied my I485 as it is not current for my status.

I140 is for a future job, so your present job does not matter.

So what was your reason for denial? Can you update? Maybe I can help. Is it merely denied because you don't have I-94? From my understanding: you have I-94 "number only", but do not have the physical copy of I-94
