Name change Passport

Hi,

Me (H1) and my family- my wife and son (H4) are here at USA.

I have a child of 3 Year old. He didn't have the last name in his passport and Visa.

We just got his last name added in his birth certificate a week back in India.

Now i would like to update his Passport and Visa with his full name (including last name).

I am not sure where should in contact for this in USA.


Any help in this regard will be appreciated.

--- I think the first step would be to update the last name in the Passport. You can/should contact the Indian Embassy and get details regarding this.

As for the Visa, you can let it slide for now and when you go for stamping, maybe in your next overseas trip, you can get it updated. I don't think you can change/update a US visa while in the US.
