Hello Everyone,
I received I485 interview notification two weeks ago and I would like to ask for your advice for the following concerns:
Here is a simple background of my case. I started working for company A in CA in 2005 and company A sponsored my H1, in 2007 company A has promoted me to relocate in NY to work in one of the headquarters. My I140 priority date is April 2006 and I485 priority date is July 2007.
Questions:
1. will relocation (from CA to NY) affect any immigration decision?
2. Do I need attorney to accompany me in the I485 interview? this will require additional cost.
3. I was told by my attorney that I won't receive official green card (if the case is approved) because I140 quota is not current yet, is it true?
Your input is much appreciated!
