H4 Visa application documents for spouse and child

Hi there,

I have some doubt regarding the documents that are required for the application for the H4 Visa (as I am H1 in US) for my wife and my child (born in india).

1. which documents are required.
- Copy of I-797 (is Original copy required? I suppose not. Please let me know)
- all W2 forms copies
- Employement letter
- Copy of LCA
- Latest 2 OR 3 paystubs
- marriage certificate
- Birth certificate of my child
- marriage album
- ???? Any other documents???

2. Question is Do I need to fill up D156 and D157 seperately for both my wife and child? I suppose I have to... Please let me know.

Please respond as soon as possible.

Any help really appreciated.

• I-797 copy is enough
• DS-156 is only required for both. DS-157 is not needed for minors.
