H1 Stamping

Hi,

I have a valid I 797 upto 2011, however my visa stamp on the passport is untill the end of spetember 2009, now that am planning to go to india for a vacation, what would be the best practice?

shld i travel to india and get the visa stamped in my passport
or
is it better to get the passport stamped in canada and then leave to india

Shld i take my wife with me when i go for the stamping?she has her visa stamped in her passport untill 2012 [/FONT]

If your wife already has visa, why to take her?

You can try for visa in India also if you have proper documentation (pay subs, w2 etc.) But many people try in Canada/Mexico fearing that they may not get it in India. It's your choice.
