Passport At Port of Entry - Urgent Help Needed

Hi All,

My wife has got H4 dependent visa (29 Jan-2009) and travelling soon. She has got the indian passport issued 7 years back.

(1) Since it is issued 7 years back, obviously look has been changed a bit compare to the passport photo.
(2) It is a hand written passport. What is machine readable passport?

I have checked with indian government, they do not reissue the passport for these reasons unless your passport going to expire in 6 months.

Help me out.

The visa will have a recent photo and you will be fine. The visas are machine readable and it should not be a problem. Nothing to be worried about.
