Dear Seniors and Friends,
I am planning to take the H4 visa interview, while preparing for the documentation i found that The Original Notice of Action Form I- 797 has to be carried along with me. So my doubt, is it fine if i carry the photocopy of it or i need to carry The Original Notice of Action Form I- 797?

Please help me in this regard.

---- If you are refering to the original notice of action for H4, then yes, you have to carry it to the interview

---- If you are referring to the original notice of action for H1, a photocopy might do, but you have to check with the website for the US Consulate where you plan to attend the visa interview

---- In either case, you do need the I-797 for H1 (to ensure that the principal applicant is employed with a company in the US)
