1. I am currently on H1-B Visa, which is valid until Sept 2010. However, there is a possibility that I may be “out of status” in mid-July (tentative). I have a MBA degree in business and was planning do MS in Computer Science.
a. If I already have an I20 from one school for MS in accounting however I would like to apply to other school for getting I20 in MS in Computer Science. Will it create a problem for me as I am getting an I20’s in different fields from different universities in about the same time?
b.When I wish to change my status from F1 to H1 in future after completion of study, does my H1 application come under the H1B quota?
c. If not, can I apply my H1 during anytime of the year and when approved can I graduate and join the employer?
d. If after completing my MS in Computer Science, will my H1B transfer process be affected if I later on get a job in audit
2. Do I need to file for Change of Status (COS) before mid-July (when I still am in active status on H1) or it is okay that I file for COS after mid-July?c.Is there a possibility that USICIS will reject my COS application since schools begin in Sept. 2009 and will be out of status by then
