EAD - Wife's Status

Hi,

I am working on H1b visa since 2006 and my GC priority date is Nov 2006. I have my I 485 pending since Aug 2007 and have EAD but I am still on H1 and my wife is on H4. I got married after filing for I 485 so my wife's application could not be attached with mine.

Since my wife is on H4 visa so if I use my EAD then what will be her status??

She will become illegal.
