Travel during H1 Transfer

My current H1 with Employer A expires on sep 30 2009. I accepted an offer from employer B and he will be filing for a H1 Transfer soon.
Meanwhile i will be travelling to india between july 11th and august 9th. My last working day with employer A is august 11th.
Do you see a possible issue at port of entry while coming back?

I am wondering whether the immigration officer will be able to see that my H1transfer is already under process. I wont have the new I797 till i come back.

Not recommended to travel during the transfer period.

With your current situation, if travel is inevitable, go for filing of the transfer after you return with a new I-94 and premium process it.
