Hi,
I got my H1B visa approved which will get effective from 1st October 2009. I am planning to go India in November for my wedding (to a green card holder) as well as get my H1B visa stamping from the Chennai Consulate. I would like to know whether it is in any way disadvantageous to get my H1B visa interview after my wedding. In other words would it be advantageous to get my H1B stamped before my marriage while I am single?
