Travelling while H4 transfer after Visa Expiry

Hi,

Thanks in advance for your inputs.
My wife's H-4 Visa and I-94 expires by Sept-09.
We haven't yet filed for H4 extension (also, i got my H1 transferred but haven't filed H4 transfer)
She would like to travel to India during 1st week of November.

Q1: How long will it take to get the H4 transfer papers
Q2: Can she travel before getting the papers and after her existing i-94 expires? - if so will it be a problem when she comes back again

Q2: Can she travel before getting the papers and after her existing i-94 expires? - if so will it be a problem when she comes back again

---- After Sept 09 if she is out of the country she has to get a H4 visa to return to the US as her visa would have expired. If she travels outside US she has to submit all I-94's at the port of departure and on return get a new I-94 at the POE issued against the new H4 visa that is stamped on her Passport
