H1B Job role 24/7 X 365. is it ok?

Hi all seniors,

I am on H1B, my employer hire me now on 24/7 , 365 days on call job. it's networking field work job. is it ok with H1B visa holders.

Remember my job minimum hours per week should be 65 to 70 is requiered, it might be some more too.

I heared that H1B people work only for 40hours / week? so if I accept this job it's legal work for me? they will write on my pay stub too.

my actual duty days is Monday to Saturday, even I have to work ON CALL Sunday (but not sure , means they call me for work then I must have to go for work.

Overtime on H1b is okay but it does look like your regular time itself is 60 hrs. May be a discussion with an attorney is warranted.

As such overtime on H1b is not an issue once in a while AFAIK.

-- ohh Thanks but the FAIK is not possible, this company is reputed (ASC) fortune 500 company, we are working on the same, attorney told us it's fine, becasue company will filed GC 2months ago (means Labour office approved it and the company start process).
