Filed I-539 1 month back, now getting an interview call

Dear Friends,

I happened to loose my job exactly on July 9th, filed my I-539 on july 17th.

Now i have been called for an interview. Is it advisable to tell the recruiter that i am on H4 or can i still say, i have a job and just looking for change.

I have a paystub dated Aug 7th......which i think i can manage with.....My i539 is half the way and dosent show up in the USCIS system....

Please advise...

You "lose" a job not loose. As you have applied for a COS, you are in valid stay period. What you tell the company is your choice. Read about "bridging" on the forum.
