Hi all,
My visa as well as I-94 are valid till sept 15 '09
my extension has been applied 2 weeks but i havn't received the receipt no as they say I will receive it in 2-3 weeks now a days
Does it relally take so long to get the receipt no these days?
But due to some urgent work I may have to visit India

Can i leave the country with expired I-94 If yes then what additional steps I need to take?
Does it voilate my processing of visa extension .
please express your views

This forum has been very useful to lot many people and have helped in solving complex problems.
I went through your answer and tried to find out cloning threads but I didn't get any,
Can you please explain what cloning means ?

Did you use the search feature? I could find many threads and the oldest ones has the answers. I wonder what method you used to find or look for the threads.
