How soon H1-B can be transferred to a new employer?

Hello Friends,
I would like to understand the policies around transferring H1-B to a new employer.
Say, Employer A is filing my fresh H1-B which I can start using from October 1st onwards. How soon can I switch over/transfer my H1 over to employer B?
Someone told me that you have to have three paystubs with employer A before switching over to B.. Also, I got to be drawing paystubs at the time of switching ... Is that correct?

Please help. I did try to find this on this website with no luck. Please point me to section explaning this in detail,if any.

You can transfer to a new employer even now. The requirement for the paystub starts after you are on the H1b status from Oct 1st. There is no set guideline like 3 paystubs. You need to be paid for every single day that you are on H1b status except holidays etc.
