H1B to F1

I need some advice on my visa status. I am working on my H1B visa for the last 2 years. I am thinking of returning to school in a while to get an MBA. What would happen to my visa status?

If I transfer to an F1, would I be able to utilize the rest of my H1B work status once I complete my degree and find work (rest of my 6yr period left on my H1B)
