Got H1 after H4 ext -is H4 petition valid

Hi,

My wife came with me to US during NOV 2007 on H4 . Recieved H4 extention approval during April 2008( valid up to 2011). Her H1 got approved and she got SSN in OCt 2008 worked only one month during Dec 2008.I filed taxes including her W4 form as well for 2008. We gone back to India On Jan 1st 2009 and she is in INDIA till now and i came to US 3 months back.

Can she go for H4 stamping with her H4 ext approval notice or does she need to apply for new H4- Please confirm this . I am planning to get her next month

She needs your H1b approval and paystubs. The H4 extension notice is of little imporatnce once one leaves the country.
