Biometrics for I 485

Hi,

My priority date is Nov 2006 and my I 485 is pending since July 07. Yesterday I got an Application Notice from USCIS for Biometrics.
I have already given the Biometrics in 2007. Does this mean USCIS has started processing my application?

Infact, my wife is not added to my application as I got married last year. So, if USCIS is processing the application what are the options I have for my wife.

It could be pre-adjudication. Fingerprints expire and they order new ones. You should keep the documents ready for your spouse to apply on the day the PD is current. Many people get approved on the first day of PD being current and that could be dis*****us if the spouse does not have her 485 applied.

Does this process of adding spouse requires any thing from my employer/lawyer or I can file her application on my own.

Can you please provide me the list of documents for adding spouse?
