Clarification regarding H1B Extension

Hello All,

First of all i would like to thank you all for your valuable suggestions. I need some help from you regarding my H1B Extension.

My I-94 is valid till Sept 24th 2010. I am planning to visit India in July 2010 and get married.Do i have any problems in port of entry while i returned back in August as i do left with only 1 month left in my valid I-94. Please advice Thanks

Is the Question about H1B extension or I-94?
while leaving in july 2010, you have to submit your current I-94. A fresh I-94 will be issued while you enter back in august 2010, which depends on your visa/i-797 validity at that point of time.

Thanks for your reply. Actually i want to know whether i have any problem with Port of entry when i try to come back in August 2010. My I-94 valid is till Sept 24th. Please advice.

You MUST return all I-94s when you exit the US. When you enter, you need a valid visa and a valid petition. Your new I-94 that will be given at POE should be given based on the date on the latest approved petition. The visa has to be unexpired.
