H1 visa stamp

Hello,
I will be going to India at the end of the year. I have to get a first time H1 visa stamp on my passport.
Is anyone aware of cases lately about delay in getting the visa because of security clearance at the mumbai consulate ?

Security clearance depends on the individual factors. So one person's delay doesn't mean anything to the rest of the immigrant community.
