TO hold Multiple Visa

Hi all,

Right now i am having Valid H1 , with some concern. Now my company is planning to give B1 for me . Is it possible to get two Visa (H1 , B1 ) at the same time . Else my H1 will be cancelled ? If it is cancelled after two or three months shalli apply for H1 with the same petition ?

---- At the time of issuing the B1 visa, some VO's may cancel the existing H1. Although the visa is cancelled the H1 petition is still valid till its validity date. At a later date if you want to work in the US on H1, you have to seek a new H1 visa stamp, enter US with a new I-94 and start working

---- Trying to do a COS from B1 to H1 while in the US may not be possible as USCIS does not view this favorably
