Hello everyone
I am in a problem here. I was on H4 visa and got H1B approved in june 2009. I came to India to get H1B visa stamped on my passport. In the mean time I recieved a call from my company HR saying that the projects are delayed an they want to delay my start date by a couple of months.
Questions
1. Can I travel on H1B to USA before october 1 and then change my status to H4 in USA?
2. In this case will my H1 approval still be valid so that I can start working as soon as my company asks me to do so? What is the procedure.
3. Is it better to wait in India for couple of months not to jeopardize my H1B approval?
