I 485 Processing time

Hi,

My I 485 in EB2 category is pending at Texas Service Center since july 2007 with PD Nov 2006. Today I found processing time for I 485 at this center is
September 07, 2007. What does this mean?

However, the current date for EB2 is JAN 05.

Does this mean my application can be processed any time? If yes, how can I add my wife's application.

Processing date need not coicide with the current date for the PD. During processing, they will look at the application, issue RFEs etc. Then it continues to be in that stage until the PD becomes available.

You can add your spouse only when the PD is current. They cannot approve the application unless the PD is current. Read about follow to join as well as you may end up in such a situation if your application gets approved before you add your spouse.
