Hello Every one:
My girlfriend was on a J1 visa and she applied for F1 visa. She got denied as the school start date was beyond 30 days of her J1 expiration. She anyway stayed back as we were thinking of getting married. By the time all the approvals from family and all happened it was 170 days and my lawyer suggested we get married before 180 days of the visa expiration and my girlfriend now wife had to leave country. Now she is in her home country waiting to get a H-4 interview.
We have a letter from our land lord confirming we have been staying together and we have tons of pictures together. Also our marriage certificate.
What do you think are her chances of getting the visa? I would really appreciate your help. Please let me know if we need to prepare any further documentation.
