  • H1 Transfer Fedex receipt or USCIS receipt to start work

I am in the process of H1 transfer. Would Fedex receipt suffice to start work or do I need the USCIS receipt notice? I read online that there is a new rule which went into effect April 2009 which requires you to have USCIS receipt notice to start work. I am not sure how to verify this information. does anybody have more information on this?

    Thanks

Fedex delivery is minimum. USCIS receipt ensures that you did not have a mailroom rejection for something like a missing signature. Approval is the best as it would not leave you high and dry in case of a denial.

I am not a lawyer and you need to consult with one to validate any info posted on the forum and discuss your case specifics. H1b Question? Read the FAQ first.
