L1 to H1 Query

Hi

I am currently working on L1B (company A) and have approved H1 petition. I have an offer from company B and is ready to transfer the H1 in COS.

Once I receive the receipt number, can I resign L1 company and start working for H1 company? This way I'll get enough time for the handover in company A on L1.

I cannot wait till the COS approval notice. The reason is that I want to leave the job (L1 company A) with proper handover and following the exit process of company A.

H1B petition approved with Company B (no H1B visa yet)
got offer from Company C (looking for H1B transfer)

desparately wanted to switch from Company A to C.
