Stamping after L1 to H1 transfer and job switch

The story: I came to the US on L1 visa early 2006 with CompanyA. I applied for H1 through CompanyB in 2007. However, I did not switch to H1 till Apr 2008. In the meantime, I had traveled to India in Sep 2007 on the already stamped and valid L1 with CompanyA. When I finally joined CompanyB in Apr 2008, they filed for my CoS and also processed it in premium mode since I was planning to visit India for a family emergency. I did not however travel. I switched to CompanyC on my H1 in Oct 2008.
Now, I am planning to visit India and would hence need to go for the H1 visa stamping.
Given the above history,
1. What kind of questions or issues should I forsee during the visa interview?
2. Are there any specific documents I should be mindful of carrying with me to the interview?
3. Since my earlier visa was a L1, would I qualify for the same-category emergency stamping dates as indicated by vfs?
