I have been in US from 2008 in H4 visa.I got my h1b approval this year.I am planning to go India for stamping. Could anyone share experience about stamping for H4 to H1.

Was your H1b approval a Change of status from H4 to H1? Did you get the I-94 along with the approval?

No its a new H1 apllication, i didnt get I-94.Comment

if you have to come for stamping - then fine
otherwise randomly all are getting pink or blue or white slips!!!
So think before you act!!!
I do understand that if you do not have a 1-94 u will have to get it stamped in ur home countryComment
