Hey,
I am on L1B in US since 2007 with company A.
In 2008 another company B filed for my H1B. It got approved, but I never used it to join that company. I continue to be with company A on L1B.
Now my L1B is due for extension. I am going to ask my company A to make an H1 instead of extending the L1. I guess I have 2 choices:
1. ask my company A to re-petition for H1 given by company B
or
2. just file for a new H1 as the quota is still not full.
What are pros & cons of each approach ? what should I opt for ?
Thanks!
