Hi
I have transfer my H1B from Company A to Company B. I got the visa stamp for Company A in my home country which is valid up to Sept 30, 2009 but the new H1B for Company B is valid up to June 30, 2010.
Now I am in my home country due to family emergency. I need to go to US consulate again for the new visa stamping. Here are questions:
1) The US consulate requested me for the updated job letter. However, the letter from my company shows another company name as Company B was acquired by another company in Jan 2009. Is it enough if i got the letter from Company B to show the consulate the change of name together with updated job letter?
2) Just in case if my H1B stamping get rejected. Can i still enter the USA with B1 visa and continue to work for company B until my H1B expiries? (remark: h1b for company B is valid up to June 30,2010)
3) Does it make any different if I got married USA citizen last year? If I enter USA with b1 visa, can i work for the company before I got my green card? Will it affect my application for Green card?
