Hi ,

My ticket was booked by my friend on my behalf by his credit card who is staying in USA. When i check my booking details onlne its mentioned that to bring the credit for verification purpose at check-in or for its alternative it request to submit some other form .
I can do it and hope can reach to till POT succesfully but at POT if they ask me to show the credit card after viewing my ticket details then what should i answer them as i didnt metion anything about my friend while filling DS form.

It may look strange to you but please patiently answer my question.

---- Nobody is concerned about your ticket booking. At hte airport they want o know that you are the person travelling with your name on the ticket. Fro this you may be asked to prove your identity by showing your driver's license, Passport and other forms of identity if they feel like asking you. The airline is concerned about the money they get, rest is upto you to ensure that you are the passenger travelling on the ticket bearing your name.

---- At the POE, they do not verify your travelling ticket. They want to know the rest of the details like your job, employer, address of the employer, your genuine documents for employment, visa etc

---- Don't be so naive, now that you hve started to travel internationally. Enquire what all is required for this travel from your friends, colleagues, airline officials and not in a public forum of this sort

---- Travel safely and start your job without hassles and if you have a family take care of them
