H4 DS-156 doubt

All,
I am planning to take my fiance for visa stamping around 20th of November, we are getting married on 4th and if I make an appointment today should I need to mark Single or Married in the Marital Status box,
Is this today's status or appointment date's status??
Appreciate any help

You can mark it as married while taking the appointment. But, make sure the sign and date on the application forms are post marriage.
