Dear senior members,
My wife is going to India for a visit and since both our visas expired on March 2009, she is going to book a visa appointment at the Chennai consulate in November, 2009. I am not accompanying her for this visit.
We already got both our H1b & H4 extensions approved until 2012 with the I94 also attached in the I-797s.
Under this scenario, for her to get restamped, do I need to go to India and get visa stamping too since I dont have a valid visa? If its not required, am I only required to get stamping only if I leave US and want to come back?
Regarding the documents, should she also carry the I-129 application for the extension that we recently got approved?
