I94# blank in I797A document

I94# blank in I797A document

Hello Friends,

My H1B is approved for this year and I94# is blank in I797A document. Previously I am on dependent visa. But I applied for my SSN and I got it.
so Do i need to go back to india for correcting my I94 or can my lawyer do this?

Could any of you please suggest me what to do?

Attorney should request USCIS to correct it.
