Is H4 cancelled if we get H1?

Hi,

I already hold a H4 stamped at Hyderabad consulate in Oct 2009. Now my employer is sending me for H1 stamping in this month (Nov).

I heard that they cancel H4, if I m granted H1. Is this true?

If this is true, then can I ever apply for H4 again? Please throw some light on this.

The VO may choose to do it. Yes, you can get H4 stamp again later on if and when you need it.
