H4 documents

Hi could someone clarify regarding the h4 documents?
In the supporting documents section I could see the following:
'Form I-129 of the principal applicant and a letter from the employer that describes the relationship with the principal applicant and the purpose of travel'

In this case, is this referring to the employment letter for the principal applicant or is this a separate letter which should describe the relationship btw the principal applicant and the spouse? It would be great if someone could clarify on this at the earliest.

Employment letter can add the spouse piece in it addressed to the consulate. You can carry marriage certificate, pics etc along with a letter from the principal H1b regarding the relationship though the letter is rarely asked for. I have never come across anyone being asked for such a letter.
