h1 restamping!!

hi im on h1 visa for 3 yrs. first time got stamped in nogales mexico in 2007. its going to expire in march 2010.(both visa stamp and i-94). i'm planning to visit india in feb 2010. my i-797 is approval is till july 2011.
if i don't attend the visa interview in india, will i be able to get the new i-94 till july 2011 at the port of entry or only till march 2010. will i have any difficulties at the port of entry as the visa stamp will b expiring in 3 weeks.
( iam working for the same company from 3 yrs and visa extension was approved till july 2011)

If you enter U.S before your visa expires, then you will get a new I-94 till the expiry date of your extended H1B petition (July 2011).
