H1 no of days available after lay off

Hi

Can any one tell me as to how many days does one have after a lay off from the present job?
I have a H1 and is valid till 2011 May but I have been laid off recently and would like to know the number of days available under the rumes

Zero days as per the law. Depends on your last paycheck.
