H1B stamping 221(g) requesting wage reports etc.....

I came for my H1B stamping to US Consulate of Dubai and they issued me 221(g) requesting wages reports, employer-client contract etc.

My employer's attorney has sent me the relevant documents which I have submitted to the conuslate.

Does anyone have an idea whether the consulate will do the H1B stamping and how long it will take?

Please share your experiences.

Every individual case is different. 221g takes it own course of time. Search for other related posts in immihelp regarding 221g. Some people have got it in 2 weeks from submitting the docs listed in 221g form and some got it after 1.5 years.

Thanks for the reply Shervin, I am already on a project and had come on a vacation.

Do you think the client will wait if the visa process is delayed to months ?

The consulate had told me to check the case status after two weeks does this mean anything ?
