Is I-979 No. same as I-129 reception No.?

    Is I-979 No. same as I-129 reception No.?

    The situation is I just got the email for H1 approval and is still waiting for the hard copy of I-797 which may take a while.

    Now I need the I-797 No. for some legal purpose. Does anyone have the experience that if the No. of I-797 is the same as I-129, a.k. the reception No.?
